ah yes funnily enough I’d clocked that too.
I’d be interested to see a good pic of one of those from the side. with a domed crystal and that unusual crown that could make the Planteria cut.

dilemma… two of my favourites. hard to comprehend that one was bought from a friend for 1/170 of the price that the other is offered at.
It depends on the type of activities you’ll be engaging in, and the types of people you will be meeting. Also, mood plays a factor. You can’t go wrong with either choice.

you don't know some of the places i go SF ;) but yes, i love the GMT, but in terms of value for money the FlightMaster is different class.
"Value for money" isn't a factor when I'm trying to choose a wrist companion for the day. :) When making purchase decisions -- yes.

you have developed the art of responding to me by stating the obvious SF haha.. but yes, i sometimes think that some of the 'better value' watches around make ownership of some of the others hard to justify. at the same time, it's not a dress rehearsal, and we only have one left wrist.

I have always liked the omega automatics. They are a pleasure to work on.
The 565 movement was one of the best they ever made. I love it.

@Daven what a lovely photo! Great watch with beautiful scenery! I love it. Also, it's a lazy Sunday, so the date function is not needed.

that looks nice SF. i like the crystal and the markers.
Thanks, @planteria! Me too! I like the applied hour markers, applied logo, domed crystal, 565 movement, blue dial and bezel color, bakelite bezel, Omega "president" bracelet, and funky 70's style case shape. This is my favorite Seamaster Omega ever made. When I saw mine for sale back in 2018, I knew I had to buy it.
